Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

a. “Venus Interior” refers to the interior design company.

b. “Client” refers to the individual or entity engaging Venus Interior for interior design services.

c. “Project” refers to the specific interior design work agreed upon between Venus Interior and the Client.

2. Engagement

a. By engaging Venus Interior’s services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

b. “Venus Interior reserves the right to refuse service to any Client for any reason.

3. Services

a. Venus Interior will provide interior design services as agreed upon in the Project scope.

b. Any changes to the Project scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

4. Fees and Payment

a. The Client agrees to pay Venus Interior the agreed-upon fees for the Project.

b. Payment terms, including deposit and installment details, will be outlined in the proposal.

5. Intellectual Property

a. Venus Interior retains intellectual property rights for all design concepts until full payment is received.

b. Upon full payment, the Client will have the right to use the design concepts for the intended purpose.

6. Confidentiality

a. Both parties agree to keep all project-related information confidential.

b. Venus Interior may use project images for promotional purposes unless the Client specifies otherwise in writing.

7. Termination

a. Either party may terminate the contract with written notice if the other party breaches the terms.

b. In the event of termination, the Client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.

8.Liability

a. Venus Interior is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of the design after completion.

b. The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary approvals or permits for the design.

9. Force Majeure

Venus Interior is not liable for any delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control.

10. Amendments

a. Venus Interior reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions with notice to the Client.

b. Continued engagement after notice constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.

By engaging Venus Interior’s services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Return, Exchange & Refund

We understand that sometimes things simply don’t work out. At the time of delivery, if you receive a damaged or defective Venus Interior’s product, or it doesn’t match our original specifications, Venus Interior gives you the following options for returning the product:

1. Rectify/Replace the returned product.

2. Exchange with another product, wherein if the new product exceeds the order value of the returned product, you will be required to pay the extra amount. If the order value of the new product is less than that of the returned product, we will refund the extra amount or provide store credit, as applicable.

One way or the other, you will end up with a great product!

We will honor your request to return a product under the following conditions:

1.All products must be returned unused with their original price tags and labels.

2. The original invoice must be presented upon returning the merchandise.

3. Our quality assurance team will inspect all returned items within 72 hours of the request. Only when it passes our standard quality assurance test, will we be able to process the return.

Note:

1. Customised furniture pieces purchased from Venus Interior cannot be returned or exchanged.

2. Any non-manufacturing defects and damages post receiving delivery will render the product invalid for returns or replacements.

3. Modular kitchens and wardrobes are made-to-order and hence cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

  • Items on sale are not applicable for a refund. Only items that are regular priced may be refunded.

How do I request a return?

Please write to us at designer@venusinterior.in within 7 days of receipt of your order.

What is the 72-hour inspection policy?

Expect no delays. Once you notify Venus Interior of a return request, we will make sure that a Venus Interior executive visits your site to inspect the product. If applicable, your return will be initiated in just 72 hours.

Non-returnable items:

1. Gift cards purchased from Venus Interiors cannot be returned.

2. If the receipt or proof of purchase of the item that you purchased is missing, your return will be invalid.

When is “exchange” possible?

We only replace/exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at designer@venusinterior.in and send your item to: 114, Nehru Nagar, Main Road, Cross Kottivakkam, Off OMR, Chennai — 600 041.

When will I receive a replacement?

When a return is accepted, the timeline for the replacement to reach you may vary from product to product. A Venus Interior representative will always keep you informed, and we will make every effort to make your new product reach you very soon.

When will I receive the refund?

1. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

2. If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a week.

Late or missing refunds:

1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts:

  • If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

  • If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns:

1. To return your product, you should mail your product to: 114, Nehru Nagar, Main Road, Cross Kottivakkam, Off OMR, Chennai — 600 041.

2. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

3. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

4. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
